Border Design & Planting Plans
At The Garden Project, we take everything a step at a time. An initial meeting in your garden will establish the size of the project and the speed at which you want to create your ideal outdoor space. It may be that there are structural changes that would make the end result exceptional, it may be that hard landscaping is required. It may be that the structure of the garden is exactly the way you want it and that planting advice is what’s needed. It may be that the entire garden needs a makeover, or perhaps only one section needs some love.
Either way we can offer all of these services, and we also understand that your requirements change over the course of the project. The beauty of The Garden Project is that we can do these things incrementally, so your garden will develop at a pace that means you can make decisions as things develop before your eyes.
During this initial meeting we will discuss ideas, we will make suggestions that you may not have considered – what will you do in your garden? which areas will you sit in? which area will the sun set on? do you have enough shade? and enough sunny spots for the G & T of an evening!
Making sense of what your garden needs to do for you and working out which plants work in which parts of the garden is integral to good Border Design, working out how many of everything you need, and which plants complement each other is integral to a good Planting Plan. Once all these elements have been addressed, let us take your garden from sketches to reality with our expert gardening services.

We offer a consultancy package that includes a Walk & Talk in your garden for 1-2 hours
A personalised Garden Pack is then put together to advise what you already have in your garden and how to care for it, what you have that can be divided or moved to a more appropriate location, and also what new plants could be added to the right area and at the right time in order to make the most of your garden.
We also offer Coaching packages, where we can come to your garden and give advice and guidance (and practical help) so you can learn to make the most of your garden.
